LockTrip Affiliate Program Terms

These terms apply to everyone who takes part in the LockTrip Affiliate Program ("the Program"). The Program is run by LockTrip Ltd., a company registered in Bulgaria (UIC 204752244), with its registered address at 78 Alexander Malinov blvd., 4 Mladost residential area, 1799 Sofia, Bulgaria ("LockTrip", "we", "us"). "You" means the affiliate.

By sharing a LockTrip referral link or discount code, or by using the Refer & Earn section of your account, you agree to these terms. They add to the LockTrip General Terms of Use (https://locktrip.com/terms).

1. How the Program works

1.1. You need a registered LockTrip account to take part.

1.2. Your account has a personal referral link and can create discount codes. A person who opens your link and creates a LockTrip account within the tracking period (currently 30 days) becomes your Level 1 referral.

1.3. People who sign up through your Level 1 referrals' links become your Level 2 referrals.

2. Commission

2.1. The current rates are:

• Level 1: 3% of the booking price of hotel bookings made by your Level 1 referrals.

• Level 2: 0.1% of the booking price of hotel bookings made by your Level 2 referrals.

2.2. If a referral uses a discount code you created, your Level 1 commission on that booking is reduced to cover part of the discount. Bonus rates may apply through Affiliate League rewards. Your dashboard shows the rates that apply to you.

2.3. Commission is first shown as pending. It becomes available on the booking's check-in date. If a booking is cancelled, no commission is earned on it, and any pending commission for it is removed.

2.4. Withdrawals are reviewed by LockTrip before payment. We may hold or refuse a withdrawal as described in section 4.

2.5. Commission is paid only on genuine referrals, and only while your affiliate account is active and in good standing and the Program runs. We do not promise any level of income.

2.6. You are responsible for any taxes on the commission you receive.

3. What is not allowed

You may not:

3.1. Refer yourself. You may not earn commission on a booking if:

• you made it;

• it was made from an account you own or control;

• you are a guest on it or you paid for it;

• it was made from an account that shares your payment card, phone number, email address or device.

Booking your own trips through a second account is self-referral.

3.2. Use the LockTrip name in a domain. You may not register or use a domain or subdomain that contains "LockTrip" or any variation or misspelling of it, such as locktrip.xx or joinlocktrip.com.

3.3. Bid on the LockTrip brand. You may not run pay-per-click or other paid-search ads that bid on "LockTrip", "LockTrip.com", "www.locktrip.com", or any misspelling or similar variation, alone or combined with other keywords. This applies on Google, Bing and any other ad platform.

3.4. Pretend to be LockTrip. You may not create websites, social media pages, profiles or ads that look like LockTrip's own, or that could make people believe you are LockTrip or act for it.

3.5. Spam or mislead. You may not send unsolicited messages or post spam. You may not hide your identity, or make false claims about LockTrip, its prices or the Program.

3.6. Manipulate tracking. You may not use cookie stuffing, forced clicks, hidden frames, pop-ups, browser extensions or software that sets or overwrites referral tracking without a real click by the customer.

3.7. Create fake activity. You may not create fake accounts, fake or incentivised sign-ups, or bookings made only to generate commission.

3.8. Promote LockTrip next to unlawful or harmful content. This includes sexually explicit material, violence, discrimination, illegal activity, or anything that infringes someone else's rights.

4. Our rights if these terms are broken

If we believe you have broken these terms, or have otherwise abused the Program, we may, at our sole discretion and without prior notice:

4.1. withhold any commission while we review your account;

4.2. cancel any commission linked to the violation, including pending and available balances;

4.3. suspend or close your affiliate account.

Closing your affiliate account does not close your LockTrip customer account, unless the violation also breaks the General Terms of Use.

5. Use of the LockTrip brand

You may use the LockTrip name and logo only to promote your referral link or discount code. You must use them in the form we provide, and you must not use them in a misleading or disparaging way. You must always present yourself as independent from LockTrip. This permission ends when your participation ends.

6. Changes to these terms

We may change these terms, the commission rates or the Program at any time, or end the Program. Changes take effect when they are published on this page. If you continue to take part after a change, you accept the new terms.

7. Ending your participation

You may stop taking part at any time. We may end your participation at any time. If you break these terms, your participation ends immediately.

8. General

8.1. You take part as an independent party. These terms do not create an employment, partnership, agency or joint-venture relationship.

8.2. LockTrip is not liable for indirect or consequential losses, or for lost profit or income. Our total liability to you under these terms is limited to the commission paid to you under them.

8.3. If any part of these terms is found invalid, the rest stays in force.

8.4. These terms replace any earlier affiliate terms.
