(lobby) The lobby area is large and very modern and decorated in Italian style with marble flooring and fashionable furniture and works of art. It exudes luxury and is a very impressive hotel lobby, with a boutique and Italian coffee shop also located here. (general) This is an excellent hotel in a lovely location, not right in the heart of Amsterdam but on one of the most beautiful canals and in one of the most prestigious parts of town, and still within walking distance of most tourist attractions.
