Overlooking the Wetering is our historic long farmhouse whose former part after a major restoration serves as a bed & breakfast or group accommodation. With its green shutters and special tiled roof is our long farmhouse a striking appearance on the banks of the Nieuwe Wetering (a small river which runs from Nijmegen to Appeltern). Adjacent to the chic 19e century manor house (Griet Geurtshof) offered our farmhouse shelter to the servants and cattle. The current shape and measurements date from 1890but the original foundations date back to the 17th century.We have five tastefully decorated rooms, each with a private bathroom, and a cozy living room with a kitchen where we offer morning welcome to an authentic farmers breakfast. When the weather permits, you can enjoy outside of your own garden and you know that it still exists: the true idyll! Located at the waterside in Appeltern with cycling possibilities in the surroundings, this Bed & Breakfast offers bicycle rental and a terrace.Each room of the Appeltern features private bathroom facilities and some rooms offer a view of the waterside or the garden.Barbecue facilities are available for guests’ use at a surcharge.
