 In the northern part of Venice lies the Jewish ghetto.
 This neighborhood rose to popularity between the 16th and 18th centuries, but it remains to be a focal point for Jewish life.
 It is undoubtedly a historic place to visit.
 The attractions in this ghetto revolve around the 1528 synagogue, which was the first of its kind.
 The Jewish Museum, located a stone throw away, is equally fascinating.
