LockTrip is an Ecosystem and a Marketplace where anyone can enjoy cheaper travel without paying unfair commissions to middlemen that have no added value. LOC can improve our lives by significantly lowering travel expenses.
Due to the advanced capabilities of blockchain technology, Hoteliers and Short Term Rental Owners can sell their rooms on our integrated marketplace for 20% lower prices without affecting their profits.
Our project consists of two parts. A decentralized booking engine - the LOC Ledger (based on the Ethereum VM), and a marketplace that will be fully integrated with the decentralized LOC Ledger
Property owners and hoteliers are able to add their short term rentals and hotel rooms to the decentralized LOC ecosystem through a one-click seamless integration (import from existing listings or via a csv import) via our marketplace https://alpha.locktrip.com
Our marketplace will have a built-in exchange algorithm which will automatically convert any external currency into LOC at the time of booking and will submit the LOC into the decentralized LOC Ledger.
LockTrip is free to use for hosts and travelers, regardless of the number of properties and size of revenue generated.
We are building two projects into one. A centralized application with immediate adoption for all retail users (our marketplace), and a decentralized technology (our open-source LOC travel Engine). Unlike many other companies, we don't rely on third parties to add value to LOC.
